Its Halloween Time...and im in Texas*

I love doing Halloween activities and love them even more when I am doing them with my sister, soo I am in Texas :).. I have been here for almost a week and have had a great time with her, Kash, and the puppies. I really needed this relaxing break from everything. School has been good but really stressful. I feel like I can never catch up. Clinicals are great, I love going to the hospital. Oh speaking of hospital, I went and saw where my sister works in the ER (love it) and I practiced my first IV on her! Went and saw paranormal activity 2 tonight and were going to a haunted house tomorrow..so many Halloween festivities. Here are some fun things we made:

Had a fun time with friends over the weekend at our local winery, owned by Kix Brookes of Brookes and Dunn. The weather was amazing. Here is a picture of my good friend Meredith and I.

Guilty Pleasures

Had a great time last night at The Guilty Pleasures Concert. Carmen and Casey invited us out to see their neighbors 80's cover band play in Downtown Nashville.  Besides annoying pushing people and a crazy staring problem guy, we all had a fun time. Also grabbed some good food in the Gulch! Many fun times to come..

Im Obsessed

Europe Trip Summer 2011

Justin and I have decided that we are going to go to Europe for 6 weeks next summer. We have a lot of planning to do but here is a sample map of our ideal locations.

The vegan Way of Life....

I have been vegetarian since I can remember and I recently decided to go complete vegan and start eating clean. I will post yummy recipes as I adventure into this new way of life.

3020 is almost all Hardwood!!

I am in the process of trying to turn my home into an Eco-friendly environment. I am starting in one room and moving around the house. I have recently laid hardwood floors in the entire house, except the master and up stairs.
I went with fsc's refurbishment wood from Lowe's so that we would not be destroying anymore forest. The wood was on sale at Lowe's and thanks to my recent flood, Allstate paid for an entire room.

Organic Sheets

These started my Eco-Friendly craze and I swear by them.I bought these Organic sheets from Target and may never buy another pair of regular sheets again.

The sheets are green with dark and light green leafs on them. They are silky, soft, and shimmery. Everyone needs a pair!

So most of you must think, "Why Organic sheets?" Well Cotton is one of the biggest crops that uses intense pesticides and harsh dyes. Most pesticides cause allergies and the thread count wears out.
